I have been happily tinkering and building software tools since the late 90s, starting with Windows desktop applications, then going through with the web and mobile.
The principles I try to bring to projects:
- 🛠️️ keep the tech stack and technical debt to a minimum
- 🌱 only use open source tools for the core business app
- 🏗 own your infrastructure and your data
- 🧩 build for interoperability with external systems
My focus is on helping businesses identify opportunities, streamline operations, and connect digitally with a global audience — enabling them to own and control their online presence.
I am hopeful and optimistic that decentralized solutions and large scale applied cryptography systems can bring forward a fairer and more prosperous future.

The company was struggling to use an off-the-shelf webshop solution so I implemented a custom and performant e-commerce solution based on the specific products and customers contexts.

The 2008 financial crisis showed me that having a single stream of income is prone to failure and I started diversifying my client portfolio. Took on quite a bunch on interesting projects from whive I've learned a lot, with clients both domestic and international.
Around 2010 I launched a social network for roommates together with a partner, that was a nice experiment that lasted for a few years.

Around 21, after my success with Dial-Up Monitor, I was approached by a friend of my older brother who was running a US-based software company building tools for Amazon sellers.
I was the original employee of the Romanian branch of the company and helped with building out the development team.
I worked across the US and UK offices and gathered a great deal of experience collaborating across different projects and teams.

How it all started
I built a desktop application called Dial-Up Monitor making use of the Windows RAS API for modems built at the down of the Internet age.
Back in the era of 56k screeches and "Get off the Internet, I need to use the phone!" battles, around high-school age I started tinkering with the crazy thought of building commercial software.
