My philosophy

I believe in a well thought-out system architecture, with an emphasis on usability and performance. I'm a supporter of the open source movement and ecosystem, very much against vendor lock-in and proprietary systems.

I empower businesses and people to connect digitally to a global audience and take ownership of the online presence.

I believe Bitcoin can change the world for the better and make it a more fun and equal plaayground for all humanity and beyond. I have thus started to dedicate time and energy pursuing challenges in the area and publishing open source code that can potentially have a positive impact to other like-minded people out there.

I joined the company at 21 as I was approached by one of my brother's friends who was running a US-based software company providing tools for Amazon sellers. I took over the project built with Delphi from a Chinese developer who was the original inventor of the tool. I led the development effort for that with an international team spread across two continents.

A challenging and interesting experience was working with the recruiting team for hiring new developers while I was myself not a subject of that experience from the interviewee's position

For a while I worked from London to design and develop a warehouse management software to support the book-selling business's inventory and order management, Integrated various automation systems like barcode scanners for tracking stock in the shelving warehouse area.

Desktop application making use of the Windows RAS API for modems built at the start of the Internet age.

Started experimenting in high school with writing commercial software, tried with a replica of ACDSee (the reference in image viewer at one point), then together with a friend came up with an idea for a dial-up solution that would allow us to split the Internet bill.

Developed for Windows using Visual Basic 6, it got many praises and good reviews on the software download portals of the time.

After seeing that broadband Internet would take over the dial-up space, made an exit by selling the full package to an American company for reuse in their internal application stack.
